Robert Lee Knapp, 91, of Foster, KY, formerly of Ceredo, WV passed away on November 14, 2023. He was born March 12, 1932 in Spencer, WV a son of the late, Led and Justine Henthorn Knapp. Bob was a retired Air Traffic Controller. He was a US Air Force Veteran. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Ceredo. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Gary and Paul Knapp; a daughter-in-law, Jean Knapp and a brother-in-law, Lowell Cottrell. Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Norma Fran Workman Knapp; a son, David Knapp; a daughter, Jaye Lynn Hebel and her husband, Edward; three granddaughters, Sara, Ashley and Emily; six great grandchildren, Dylan, Connor, Leigh Lynn, Silas, Sully and Frankie; two sisters, Lena Cottrell and Mary Frances (Jon) Timmons; and two sisters-in-law, Brenda Knapp and Loretta Knapp. The family will receive friends from noon to 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova, WV. A funeral service will begin at 2 with Pastor Jeff Canterbury officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
